Brought to the community by Decatur Morgan CEO, the Second Annual Christmas on Bank is bringing all the good tidings and joy to town! As a matter of fact, there will be holiday music, kids’ activities and games, food trucks, pictures with Santa and an “Ugly Sweater Contest.”
What’s more, make plans to check off your holiday gift list and your own shopping wish list too, thanks to the local vendors that will be on-site.
Are you wondering what the cost of admission is for this family-friendly community event? Nothing. It’s free! Photos with Santa on the steps of Old State Bank are also going to be free, and the memories made will be priceless too.

In a nutshell, it’s an entrepreneurship program for senior high school students in Morgan County that allows them to use “class time to start real companies.” According to the website, the program was launched by the Midland Institute in Illinois in 2009.
Since then, it has expanded to high schools across the country. However, Decatur Morgan CEO was the first program established in Alabama. Students who participate in the program work together to plan their businesses, visit local businesses and listen to business leaders share insight on best practices and more.
